CRAFT: TeamLab’s latest light show

Tokyo-based digital collective teamLab are at it again – blowing minds with their world-renowned immersive art. Opening yesterday and on-show for just two weeks, the digital art masters have taken up residence at Kyoto’s Shimogamo Shrine, turning the UNESCO World Heritage site into a trippy ‘digitized forest’. Using brightly coloured responsive orbs and interactive projections, teamLab have transformed the sacred shrine and surrounding Tadasu forest into an immersive digital wonderland, where nature and technology sit harmoniously side-by-side.

Open daily from 17th August – 2nd September 2019, tickets are available from Lawson Ticket or on the door.
