In just six months’ time, Tokyo welcomes the world’s best sportsmen and women to compete in the 2020 Olympic Games. The countdown is officially on, and as final preparations are made and excitement mounts, the Olympic Committee have released a series of promotional art posters. Designed by renowned creatives including manga artists, photographers, painters, calligraphers and graphic designers, each poster celebrates the world’s greatest sporting event, as well as the unique culture of this year’s host country.
With twenty designs in total, visit tokyo2020.org to discover the full collection. Or, if you find yourself in Tokyo this month, the original artworks will be on display at the Museum of Contemporary Art until February 16th.
