CRAFT: The Floating World in Motion

Japanese filmmaker Atsuki Segawa has made a name for himself creating animated gifs using traditional woodblock prints. Breathing life into ukiyo-e artists’ traditionally flat depictions of the ‘floating world’, Segawa adds movement and unexpected present-day objects to some of Japan’s most famous artworks.
