CRAFT: Re-Colouring History

Pioneering Japanese photographer Kazumasa Ogawa lived through the Meiji era and owned the first photo studio in Tokyo, opened in 1884. He’s also known for his early photo re-touching, hand-colouring images of Japanese flowers, plants and landscapes, which today serve as beautiful historical artworks.
