FOOD: The UK’s First Home-Brewed Sake

Londoners rejoice! Kanpai London are breaking the mould by crafting the UK’s first home grown sake from their small batch brewery in Peckham. High-grade and preservative-free, Kanpai are developing their own modern style using traditional Japanese techniques.

Having fallen in love with Japan whilst traveling, founders Tom and Lucy are dedicating their lives to the pursuit of sake brewing. Their unique blends are already stocked in over 50 bars, shops and restaurants across London, and from this Friday, 12th October, you’ll be able to taste Kanpai’s sake straight from the barrel at their new sake tap room in Peckham.
