Straight from the imagination of cult Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, fans mustn’t leave Tokyo without a trip to Zingaro – tucked away on the top floor of otaku-arcade Nakano Broadway. Part café-bar, part events space, Zingaro is heaven for Murakami devotes, offering the chance to dine out on illustrated-everything, from flower burgers to exclusive merchandise. Teaming up with Tomigaya favourite, Fuglen to design the interior and supply the coffee, Zingaro is not your average character-café but a stylish tribute to Japan’s best-loved pop-art.
