CRAFT: Everything in its Right Place
When All Nippon Airways approached a design studio on the other side of the world to redefine the experience of flying through a lens of east meets west, something remarkable happened.
Partnering with London-based Acumen Design Studio and world-renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, ANA took a deep-dive into the soul of Japanese design. Considering every detail from cabin panelling to seat fabrics, menu cards to lighting, ANA’s design team created an in-flight experience like no other. Reimagining the cabin space to embody Japan’s signature beauty, warmth and clever functionality, ANA’s new design is one that helps local passengers feel at home, whilst giving guests a taste of true Japanese culture before they’ve even taken off.
