Earlier this year, ANA and Luxeat took to Paris to present the latest instalment of ‘Culinary Journeys’ – a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience. Held at Affinité restaurant, enthusiasts of Japan’s unique culture and cuisine were treated to a collaborative menu put together by three of Japan’s most renowned chefs: Tomokazu Maehira, Kentaro Nakahara and Shingo Takahashi; and Paris’ own Michelin-starred chef, Toshitaka Omiya.
The exceptional omakase menu comprised of signature sushi, tempura and Wagyu dishes alongside ‘foie gras with ginger and chives’; all using the very best seasonal ingredients that Japan and France had to offer. Exclusive caviar and sake pairings embellished the evening before pastry chef Morgane Raimbaud’s award-winning finale – ‘chocolate and black truffle’ dessert.
