WELLNESS: In Japan’s First Floating Hotel

A cruise ship like no other, Guntu is Japan’s first floating hotel. Designed by architect Yasushi Horibe, Guntu will drift around the breathtaking Setouchi inland sea, with tender boats on hand to ferry guests back and forth to explore nearby islands and coastline. Guntu offers 19 luxury rooms, and from September this year guests can book up to three nights aboard the vessel, setting off from Onomichi, Hiroshima.

This is a luxury travel at it’s best, and with a price tag to match, one for seasoned adventurers in search of a truly unique experience.
