Pink o-mikuji Fortunes, Kyoto

Similar to the Chinese fortune cookie, o-mikuji are random paper fortunes which can be found outside both Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples across Japan. Received by making a small offering, often a five-yen coin as it’s considered good luck, o-mikuji predict both good and bad fortunes relating to health, love, travel and money.
