FOOD DIY Sushi

With a vast array of sushi restaurants throughout the city, on arrival in Kyoto it can be tricky to know where best to sample Japan’s most famous food. With three locations across Kyoto, each specialising in a different style of sushi, AWOMB is an excellent choice. Presenting diners with deconstructed sushi platters, AWOMB’s unique DIY concept invites you to not only taste, but make your own maki rolls. With a plate of ingredients to play with, including nori seaweed, sushi rice, and a selection of raw fillings and toppings, guests can get to grips with exactly what makes up their favourite sushi, and even add some creative flair with their own imaginative pairings.
